Job Summary

Kforce's client, a growing CPA firm in East Brunswick, NJ, is seeking a Senior Auditor. This role is mainly remote with occasional office visits and client travel. The Senior Auditor will assist in audit, accounting, and consulting services, coordinate activities with clients, oversee staff, and handle complex accounting issues. Must Have

  • Assist in carrying out audit, accounting, and other consulting and attest services to clients
  • Coordinate service activities with clients and oversee staff accountants
  • Successfully handle complex accounting issues and specialized assignments
  • Maintain proper documentation in accordance with firm policies and auditing standards
  • Run large and complex engagements while supervising staff or run several smaller engagements simultaneously
  • Develop new client relationships and enhance current relationships by providing excellent customer service
  • Excel in a dynamic work environment servicing a variety of clients
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Actively working towards obtaining your CPA license
  • 3+ years of recent work experience as an auditor for a public accounting firm
  • Exposure servicing a broad range of industries
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications (Excel, Teams, Word, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation

Job Description

Kforce's client, a growing CPA firm located in East Brunswick, NJ, is seeking a Senior Auditor. This role will be mainly remote with up to 15 days a year in the office for training/team events, and occasional travel to clients. You must be commutable to the office in East Brunswick, NJ.

Summary

As an Audit Senior, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in your professional career through ongoing training, collaborating with colleagues on multiple engagements, experiencing direct coaching and mentoring from our talented Audit team, and overseeing our Associate staff. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Actively working towards obtaining your CPA license; Current CPA license a plus
  • 3+ years of recent work experience as an auditor for a public accounting firm
  • Exposure servicing a broad range of industries including, but not limited to manufacturing and distribution, technology, real estate, 401k, yellow book and life sciences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications (Excel, Teams, Word, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
